This policy describes how Animus Engine LLC ("Animus," "we") handles information collected through animusengine.io.
What we collect
Information you send us directly — such as your name, email address, and anything you include in an email or booking request. We do not operate accounts, and we do not collect payment information through this site.
Consent-controlled third parties
- Ahrefs Web Analytics counts visits and helps us understand aggregate site traffic. Its analytics script loads only after you accept analytics in the consent banner.
- Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages bring visitors and which lead to a booked call or a message. It loads only after you choose Accept in the consent banner. Advertising features and Google signals are off. Your choice is stored in this browser's local storage, and you can change it at any time with "Cookie choices" in the footer.
- Cal.com provides the booking calendar on our booking page and processes the information you enter to schedule a call. The calendar and Cal.com cookies load only after you accept in the consent banner or explicitly choose to load the booking calendar for that visit.
- Sentry provides error reporting used by the Cal.com calendar. It loads through the calendar when you accept in the consent banner or explicitly choose to load the booking calendar for that visit.
If you reject analytics or have not made a banner choice, Ahrefs and Google Analytics do not load. The Cal.com calendar, its cookies, and Sentry stay off unless you accept in the consent banner or explicitly choose Load the booking calendar for that visit. Loading only the calendar does not accept Ahrefs or Google Analytics.
How we use information
To respond to your inquiries, schedule and conduct engagements, and operate the business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers necessary to operate the site and business (such as email and scheduling providers), or where required by law.
Retention & your choices
We keep correspondence as long as needed for the purposes above. You may request access to, or deletion of, information you've sent us by emailing chris@animusengine.io.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Questions: chris@animusengine.io.
